Epsom salt

Epsom salt, also known as magnesium sulphate, is a chemical compound consisting of magnesium, oxygen, and sulphur. Epsom salt is in fact not the same as regular table salt, rather it’s named as such due to its similar chemical structure. This compound is known to reduce joint and muscle stiffness while restoring magnesium into the body.

Found in a number of “superfoods” as well as cosmetic products, magnesium is a naturally occurring mineral which is hugely beneficial for the body's overall health. This is because magnesium plays a vital part in hundreds of enzymatic reactions in the body.

Epsom salt is also known for its healing properties, having been used for centuries to relieve inflammation. Soaking in these naturally cleansing Epsom salts has the potential to return moisture and soothe cracked, rough, peeling, or cut skin.

Lavender

Lavender is a small, sweet-smelling purple shrub from the mint family. The flowers and oil found in lavender are widely harvested for use in herbal medicines and aromatherapy products.

Chamomile

Chamomile oil is obtained from the flowers of the Chamomile plant through steam distillation. Similar to lavender oil, chamomile oil contains calming, anti-oxidant properties which lead to several benefits, including reduced skin inflammation.
